It’s billed as an arena-rock love story told through the mind-blowing, face-melting hits of the 1980s. And while Rock Of Ages routinely features the music of REO Speedwagon among many other 80s groups, last night the cast was joined by the genuine article!
Kevin Cronin, REO’s frontman, hit the stage backed by Rock Of Ages’ own house band Arsenal, for a rockin’ rendition of his band’s classic hit, Can’t Fight This Feeling. Then immediately after the show, Cronin was joined by all his REO Speedwagon band mates for a free Q & A with last night’s ticket holders.
In addition to the music of REO Speedwagon, Rock Of Ages features the tunes of Journey, Night Ranger, Styx, Pat Benatar, Twisted Sister, Poison, Asia, Whitesnake and many more 80s hit makers.
