You know her as the hilarious former cast member for six seasons on Saturday Night Live. Now Molly Shannon is taking on a new challenge as she makes her Broadway debut in Promises, Promises.
Shannon will take over the role of barfly Marge MacDougall from Tony Winner Katie Finneran on October 12th. Finneran, whose Tony nod came earlier this year for her performance in this role, is set to leave the show on October 10th. She is pregnant with her first child.
For now, Ms. Shannon’s engagement is planned to run through December 26th only. That is the date when stars Kristin Chenoweth and Sean Hayes are scheduled to leave the production as well. But if you’d like to see all three in Promises, Promises, simply click here to book your tour with us.
