The hit Broadway musical Promises, Promises has announced that its leading man and leading lady will depart the show on December 26th. On that night, Kristin Chenoweth and Sean Hayes will give their final performances as Fran Kubelik and Chuck Baxter at the Broadway Theatre.
Based on the 1960 film The Apartment, Promises, Promises tells the story of the Consolidated Life Insurance Company and Chuck Baxter, one of its charming young employees. In an effort to advance his career, Chuck lends executives his apartment for their extramarital romantic trysts. But things become slightly complicated when Chuck discovers Fran Kubelik, the object of his affection, is involved with one of the executives.
